Summary

THE RELATION BETWEEN SUPERCONDUCTIVITY AND PHASE STRUCTURE IN YBACUO DOPED WITH STRONTIUM AND CALCIUM HAS BEEN STUDIED SYSTEMATICALLY BY THE MEASUREMENTS OF SUPERCONDUCTIVITY, PHASE STRUCTURE AND THERMAL ANALYSIS. IT IS FOUND THAT SERIES OF SAMPLES DOPED WITH CALCIUM, CRITICAL TEMPERATURE DECREASES LINEARLY WITH CONTENT OF CALCIUM ; FOR SERIES OF SAMPLES DOPED WITH STRONTIUM, CRITICAL TEMPERATURE CAN CHANGE WITH THE CONTENT OF STRONTIUM EITHER MONOTONOUSLY OR NON-MONOTONOUSLY, DEPENDING ON THE PREPARATION CONDITIONS. A CORRELATION EXISTS BETWEEN CRITICAL TEMPERATURE AND THE CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF THE SAMPLES. THE RESULTS OBTAINED SUGGEST STRONGLY THAT THE INTENSITY OF THE COUPLING BETWEEN COPPER-OXYGEN PLANES AND COPPER-OXYGEN CHAINS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
