Summary
Data were tabulated on the size of heads and marketable crop yield in the white cabbage (Brassica oleracea) cultivars Kamienna Glowa and langedijker. Content of dry matter, total sugars and vitamin C were determined immediately after harvest and after 30 and 60 days storage at 5-10 °C and 85-90% relative humidity. During the storage period, losses of fresh weight and total sugars, and increase in dry matter of leaves were observed.
