Summary
The authors investigated the influence of several factors on the transmission of third-stage Gnathostoma binucleatum larvae in fish foods to humans. Freezing killed larvae within 48 hours and refrigeration by 30 days. Boiling for 4 minutes and and broiling for 60 minutes alos killed larvae. Lemon juice was insufficiently effective.
