Summary
USING A RANDOM PORE MODEL THE EFFECT OF PARAMETERS SUCH AS THERMAL DIFFUSIVITY, POROSITY, SOLID DISTRIBUTION AND HEATING TEMPERATURE ON THE PROFILES OF TEMPERATURE AND FREEZE-DRYING TIME OF THERMALLY CONTROLLED FROZEN SOLUTIONS IS ANALYZED. THE MATHEMATICAL MODEL ADOPTED AS GOVERNING THE PROCESS WORKS UNDER UNIDIRECTIONAL TRANSFER AND PLANE GEOMETRY CONDITIONS, AND ITS NUMERICAL SOLUTIONS, REQUIRE ONLY THE THERMOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF THE PRODUCT IN EACH PHASE.
