Type of article: Article
Summary
A CONTACT TEST OF BIOLOGICAL HARMLESSNESS WAS MADE USING SOME PLASTIC FOILS TO DETERMINE THE EFFECT OF WATER EXTRACTS ON THE HELA TISSUE CULTURE AND CFU-C CELLS. THE CONTACT TEST WAS NEGATIVE FOR ALL TESTED FOILS IN BOTH CELL TYPES. EXCEPT OF RARELY OCCURRING VACUOLIZATION THERE WERE NOT OBSERVED ANY OTHER MORPHOLOGICAL ALTERATIONS. MICROTEN BB 43 CAN BE DESIGNATED AS THE MOST SUITABLE MATERIAL FOR THE PRODUCTION OF THE BAGS FOR CRYOPRESERVATION OF HAEMOPOIETIC CELLS.
