Summary

THE INFLUENCE OF DEFORMATION PHENOMENA ON THE SPECTRUM OF ELECTRONS LOCALIZED ON A THIN HELIUM FILM IS INVESTIGATED. IT IS SHOWN THAT THE INFLUENCE SHOULD OCCUR FOR BOTH THE TRANSVERSE AND LONGITUDINAL PARTS OF THE ELECTRON SPECTRUM. THE STABILITY OF SURFACE ELECTRON STATES ON THIN HELIUM FILMS IS DISCUSSED. IT IS POINTED OUT THAT EFFICIENT INTERACTION BETWEEN THE ELECTRON SYSTEM ON THE SURFACE OF THE HELIUM FILM AND THE SYSTEM OF THERMAL VORTEX EXCITATIONS IN THE FILM SHOULD BE POSSIBLE.
