Energetic and economic analysis of solar and air to water heat pump system for sanitary hot water heating in tourist camps.

Summary

Three types of sanitary hot water (SHW) heating system have been analysed: first with flate plate solar collectors, second with air-water heat pump and third with electric heater. The possible utilization of night off-peak electrical energy, using heat storage was analysed as well. A numerical model was established, taking into account the influence of temperature difference in a heat exchanger to heat flux and SHW temperature in storage tanks. This model enables system optimisation and gives energetic balances necessary for energetic and economic optimisation.
