Experimental investigation of a direct-expansion solar-assisted heat pump multi-function machine.

Author(s) : YANG Q. M., KONG X. Q., YI Q. J., et al.

Summary

The constitution and working principle of the experimental system of a mini-type direct-expansion solar-assisted heat pump multi-function machine are introduced in this paper. The thermodynamic parameters are tested real-time on line respectively under heating mode in winter and spring. The results of comparing and analysing the experimental data show that the heating performance improves clearly due to the addition of solar collectors in the system and the average COP reaches 3.25 and 5.0, respectively, in winter and spring. In the paper, some necessary discussions are also given for solving the latent questions in the system, and the research direction and essential research strategy in the future are indicated.
