Energy efficiency through better air-quality control in ventilation and air-conditioning systems (EN 13779). 1.
Author(s) : LÜTZ H.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Precise air quality control is often discussed but very rarely applied, yet has a great contribution to make in cutting the running costs of ventilation and air conditioning systems. Despite suggestions from as early as the year 1916 that CO2 control should be used for this purpose, the technology has been expensive and energy prices too low to make it worthwhile.
