Author(s) : COLE R. A.

Summary

Gas and liquid coolers for two-stage refrigerating plants conventionally have been designed to submerge the discharge pipe from the low-temperature-compressor below a maintained liquid level and to bubble the gas through the liquid to effect the cooling. Advantages and disadvantages of the method are discussed. Several schemes are presented.
