Energy recovery from the heat of rejection.
Author(s) : SULE S. M.
Summary
The application discussed here pertains to an air conditioning facility situated in humid climate and requiring relative humidities lower than 55%. Reheat is required in such applications for controlling the inside design conditions. The method utilizes the heat of rejection for reheating. This method reduces the energy consumption and also lowers the peak demand and provides subcooling of the refrigerant liquid. Economic aspects are discussed.
