Energy-saving possibilities with a refrigerating plant operating at partial-load conditions.
Energiebesparingsmogelijkheden in deellast.

Type of article: Article
Summary
Energy consumption involves the major expenses of a refrigerating plant. The severe rise in fuel prices runs into a lot of money. Considering the facts that a refrigeration plant runs mostly under partial load and the price of frequency modulators has reduced, it is worthwhile to consider the possibilities of saving energy consumption under partial load. In four steps the article shows that under all running circumstances an industrial reciprocating compressor is the best energetic solution. Under certain conditions, a frequency modulator might even increase the savings.
