Enhancement of thermal conductivity by using polymer-zeolite for sorption heat pump application.

Summary

A solid thermal conductivity augmentation technology has been studied in the paper for the purposes of increasing solid adsorption heat pump cycle performance. Through the study, it has been found by using a special polymeric binder material in the preparation of zeolite composite, the general thermal conductivity of the solid bed could be increased by 5-10 times. The article also explains how to prepare this material.
