Summary

A heat regenerative adsorption refrigerator using spiral plate heat exchangers as adsorbers and an adsorption heat pump for air conditioning using plate fin heat exchangers or plate fin shell and tube type heat exchanger as adsorbers have been developed and tested. Experimental research results are shown. An activated carbon-methanol adsorption pair is used in both adsorption systems. Performances per kg activated carbon are given.
