Summary

THE AUTHORS MAKE A DISTINCTION BETWEEN THE RELIABILITY OF THE EQUIPMENT ITSELF AND THE RELIABILITY OF ITS UTILIZATION. IN THE CASE OF THE LATTER, THEY MENTIONDEVELOPMENTS ACHIEVED THANKS TO ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGY, WHICH IS LIKELY TO IMPROVE FURTHER TERMINAL OPERATION. INDEED, IN ORDER TO REACH THIS OBJECTIVE, IT WOULD BE CONVENIENT TO ORGANIZE TRAINING COURSES FOR OPERATORS AND TOPUT AT THEIR DISPOSAL A COMPUTER-ASSISTED DIAGNOSIS-AND DECISION-MAKING SYSTEM TO BE USED IN CASE OF INCIDENTS. THE AUTHORS DESCRIBE THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGY USED FOR THE TRAINING OF OPERATORS AND THE TERMINAL OPERATION SIMULATOR.
