Summary
Presents the summary of the third phase of a BSRIA research programme to produce and subsequently evaluate an Environmental Code of Practice for Buildings and their Services. The case studies provide valuable information to feed forward into the design process on how good innovative ideas in theory work in practice, how decisions are made, and the value of using the Code of practice. The case studies include a health centre, dismantling of an office block, and environmental education centre, refurbishment to natural ventilation, energy efficient housing, among others.
