EPA's risk management plan requirements.
Author(s) : JORDAN P. R., MULVEY N. P.
Summary
In October 1993 the US Environmental Protection Agency published recommendations for the management of risks in the use of dangerous chemicals, including ammonia. The recommendations, which are still subject to modification, seem to go much further than those passed by the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration. They include a definition of maximum risk and discuss environmental impacts and the need for proper public information.
