FOR SEPARATION PROCESSES OF METHANE-CARBON DIOXIDE MIXTURES AT LOW TEMPERATURE, PHASE EQUILIBRIA IN THE VAPOUR-SOLID AND VAPOUR-LIQUID RANGE ARE NECESSARY. FROM BIBLIOGRAPHICAL DATA AND THE AUTHORS' OWN CALCULATIONS, THESE WERE FOUND IN THE AREA OF THE CRITICAL PRESSURES. NEWLY DEVELOPED TABLES MAKE POSSIBLE RELIABLE PROCESS TECHNICAL RATINGS OVER WIDE PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE RANGES. A THREE-DIMENSIONAL REPRESENTATION ILLUSTRATES THE COMPLICATED CALORIC BEHAVIOUR WITHIN THE RANGE OF LOW TEMPERATURES OF THE MIXTURE.
