Equipements et systèmes de confort d'été : principes de fonctionnement.

Author(s) : GDF SUEZ Cegibat

Type of monograph: Book, Guide/Handbook

Summary

This manuel contains many illustrations and explains general heating and summer comfort concepts. It provides technical elements on various cooling modes for air-conditioning, and more particularly on solutions using natural gas (absorption systems). It explains the operations of cooling systems and of static and dynamic emitters. It presents the regulations applicable to systems as of mid-2007, and offers classification of collective solutions. Extract from the table of contents: definitions and theory (heat exchange, humid air, refrigerants); compression system (operating principle; compressor; performance); absorption system (water/LiBr and NH3/water absorption cycles; performance); cooling technologies (liquid chillers and compression heat pumps; absorption liquid chillers; gas-driven heat pumps); cold sources (cooling towers); common emitters (fan-coil units; air-handling units; cooling coils; chilled beams; water-cooled or heated floors); classification and selection of systems.
