Summary
The paper describes: the influence of refrigerant properties, type of thermodynamic cycle, temperature conditions, refrigeration circuit of a built-in motor, type of heat exchange apparatus, gas-dynamic characteristics of steps and efficiency of electrical drive on energy characteristics of air conditioners with turbocompressors. Calculations are made for turbocompressors with a refrigerating capacity from 5 to 20 kilowatts, according to a specially developed program which ensures the obtaining of the regime and energy characteristics of turbocompressors and air conditioners with the consideration of the mentioned factors. A general possibility of developing a competitive air conditioner with turbocompressors is shown, and the conditions under which this can be achieved are indicated.
