Summary

Five mixture models have been developed for calculating thermodynamic properties of refrigerant mixtures containing R32, R125 and R134a. These models were submitted to Annex 18 (thermophysical properties of the environmentally acceptable refrigerants) of the IEA Heat Pump Programme in an effort to develop state of the art equations for mixtures of the new environmentally acceptable refrigerants. The models may be used to calculate thermodynamic properties of the mixtures over all compositions and single phase states, as well as dew and bubble point properties and critical points. The models are compared to experimental data using statistical analysis and graphical comparisons.
