Exact solution to the one-dimensional inverse-Stefan problem in nonideal biological tissues.
Author(s) : RABIN Y., SHITZER A.
Type of article: Article
Summary
In the inverse-Stefan problems, the desired cooling rate at the freezing front is the required boundary condition, whereas the temperature forcing function, at the interface with the cryoprobe, is calculated by the analysis. In the paper the authors calculate the temperature forcing function, which is required to achieve certain desired cooling rates at the phase-change front in the tissue.
