Summary

THE EXERGETIC CYCLE OF A CONVENTIONAL COMPRESSION COOLING SYSTEM IS STUDIED: COMPRESSION, CONDENSATION, EXPANSION, EVAPORATION, COMPLETE CYCLE. AN EXERGETIC ANALYSIS OF HEAT TRANSFER IS MADE: TRANSFER BETWEEN THE EXCHANGER AND THE MEDIUM, INCLUDING THE SPECIAL CASE WHERE THE MEDIUM IS THE EXTERNAL ATMOSPHERE, ENERGETIC EFFICIENCY OFEXCHANGERS. THE CURVES FOR CLOSED CYCLES ARE COMPARED: CARNOT CYCLE, ENTROPY CYCLE, ENTHALPY CYCLE, EXERGETIC CYCLE. AN EXAMPLE OF NUMERICAL APPLICATION IS GIVEN AND A CHART OF FLUXES (ENERGY, EXERGY AND ANERGY) IS PRESENTED. IN CONCLUSION, THE ADVANTAGES OF THE EXERGY CHART ARE SUMMARIZED. J.L.
