Summary

One way to reduce heat losses of cryogenic storage systems is to catch the heat contained in the leaving cold vapour. Few studies are considered in detail this problem. In the paper, experimental results concerning heat transfer between the vapour and the cryostat necks obtained for liquid nitrogen cryostat are presented and compared with numerical and theoretical results.
