EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF REFRIGERATION MACHINE USING NON-AZEOTROPIC REFRIGERANTS R12-R13.

Author(s) : LI W. L., HUA X. L.

Summary

A THEORETICAL ANALYSIS AND A TEST STUDY WERE MADE IN ORDER TO INVESTIGATE THE REFRIGERATING CYCLE OF A NON-AZEOTROPIC R12-R13 MIXTURE. THE RESULTS SHOW THAT TEMPERATURE CAN BE MAINTAINED IN THE RECEIVER AT ABOUT 213 K (-60 DEG C) WHEN THE FINAL CONDENSATION TEMPERATURE IS ABOUT 298 K (25 DEG C) AND CONCENTRATION IN THE OPERATION OF A REFRIGERATING SYSTEM EQUIPPED WITH TANKS VARY ACCORDING TO OPERATING CONDITIONS AND IT CAN BE SELF-CONTROLLED. THE RESULT IS THAT A SMALL LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT IN SUCH A SYSTEM HAS NO EFFECT ON NORMAL OPERATION.
