Summary

Observing the near-surface turbulent exchange process is important in research work on the interaction between ice-snow and atmosphere. Following micrometeorological measurements, experimental observation was carried out using advanced boundary-sensing instruments. The items include fluctuating temperature and velocity, atmospheric profile, radiation balance components, etc. Using these data, the characteristics of the turbulent parameters for Antarctic coastal area ice sheets have been studied.
