Experimental observation of the flow distribution of refrigerant HFC-134a in a mini-channel evaporator.

Author(s) : COLASSON S.

Summary

Microchannel heat exchangers could be potentially involved in many applications where compactness and higher heat transfer efficiency are expected. An experimental study has been lead to specify the hydraulic and heat transfer performances of a classical mini-channels condenser as an evaporator with refrigerant HFC-134a. The obtained data are discussed in the present paper.
