Experimental research on adiabatic absorption process of lithium-bromide solution on a sloping desk.

Author(s) : SHEN J., SUN H., ZOU T., et al.

Summary

Based on the separation of the heat and mass transfer, an experimental unit of lithium bromide aqueous solution falling-film is built and the investigation is carried out for the performance of the water vapour absorption on the sloping desk. The influences of the inclination, the inlet temperature, the concentration and the absorption pressure on the performance of the heat and mass transfer are discussed. The results of the experiment show that the angle and the length of the sloping desk strongly affected to the heat and mass transfer. The transfer coefficient of the adiabatic absorption is enhanced compared to the non-adiabatic horizontal tube of the falling film absorption.
