Summary

CRYSTALLISATION MAY CAUSE OPERATING PROBLEMS IN ABSORPTION HEAT PUMPS AND COOLERS. CONSEQUENTLY, IT IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE THE OPTIMUM FLOW PREVENTING CRYSTALLISATION AND PROVIDING THE MINIMUM DECREASE IN COP. TEST DATA WERE OBTAINED WITH ABSORBER TEMPERATURES RANGING BETWEEN 308.2 AND 321. 7 K (35.2 AND 48.7 DEG C). THE FLOW RATIOS RANGED BETWEEN 18.4 AND 51.7. (Bibliogr. int.
