THE PAPER PRESENTS THE PLANNING AND THE FIRST RESULTS OF A STUDY OF HEAT TRANSFER THROUGH NATURAL CONVECTION INSIDE BUILDINGS. THE AIM IS TO ELABORATE THE METHODS OF CALCULATION AND DESIGN GUIDELINES TO OBTAIN A BETTER DISTRIBUTION OF THE HEAT GAINS AND THERMAL INERTIA INSIDE BUILDINGS AS WELL AS THE REMOVAL OF ENERGETIC EXCESS DURING SUMMER BY MEANS OF CROSS NATURAL VENTILATION.
