On correlating convective heat transfer data.

Summary

Correlations refer to mathematical equations between experimentally measured parameters. A systematic methodology is presented to formulate such correlations starting from the measured data. Standard techniques such as the least square method can be resorted to. The methodology is illustrated through an example from vibrational heat transfer.
