Summary
THE PVT PROPERTIES AND THE SATURATION PRESSURES OF R12 IN THE RANGE 273 TO 403 K AND AT PRESSURES REACHING 30 MEGAPASCAL WERE MEASURED, USING A CONSTANT VOLUME APPARATUS WITH ABOUT 270 CM3 INTERNAL VOLUME. TEMPERATURE WAS MEASURED WITHIN 5 MILLIK WITH A PLATINUM RESISTANCE THERMOMETER CALIBRATED ACCORDING TO IPTS (1968) ; THE PRESSURE WAS MEASURED WITH AN ACCURACY BETTER THAN 0.5 KILOPASCAL. SPECIFIC VOLUME WAS DETERMINED WITHIN 0.02%, TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE ERRORS OF TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE MEASUREMENTS.
