Experimental study on heat and mass transfer with vapor absorption from injected bubble in aqueous solution.

Author(s) : KAMOSHIDA J., OKADA T., ISSHIKI N., et al.

Summary

The direct contact absorption phenomenon, which occurs when steam is injected into the water-lithium bromide halide salt solutions, has been experimentally investigated. The paper examined the effects of liquid and vapour flow regime, subcooling of the aqueous solution and concentration of absorbent on heat and mass transfer characteristic.
