Summary

To prevent frosting on the surface of outdoor heat exchanger when air source heat pump is used in South China, the heat-source tower heat pump system has been developed. As a key component of the system, the mass transfer performance of heat-source tower has a significant effect on the performance of system. In this paper, the effects of parameters of fluids on the mass transfer coefficient are investigated experimentally. It is concluded that except the air inlet temperature and the secondary refrigerant flow rate, the other parameters of fluids have a significant effect on the mass transfer coefficient of closed-type heat-source tower.
