Final report of the Concerted Action of the Community Bureau of Reference on methods of identification of irradiated foods.

Summary

The main results got by this BCR Concerted Action during the 1990-92 years are described, pointing out the four groups of methods: DNA, microbiological, physical and chemical methods. The list of involved laboratories is enclosed and as so as for the nine protocoles submitted to the BCR, ie 2 in microbiology, 4 in electron spin resonance, 1 in thermoluminescence and 2 in chemistry.
