Fish imports chilled at airport.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The 13,200 square feet site has been developed by BOC Distribution Services, which is marketing the facility to fish and other food suppliers at home and abroad. The warehouse will combat wastage of fish after long flights and its opening is particularly timely. There is a growing demand for fish to be flown fresh to customers both to achieve the best prices for catchers and to supply expanding markets for fresh exotic species.
