Summary

This 2-volume book was published in a series: "Fluid mechanics". Flows with heat exchange are increasingly used in the industry and in geophysics. They play an essential role in energy and environmental problems. Mastery of flows with heat exchange is necessary in order to design efficient systems and optimize them. It depends on the understanding and modelling of phenomena. The first volume deals with laminar convection and the second one with turbulent convection. The aim of the book is to facilitate the approach of convective transfer for readers to whom these questions are unfamiliar. Each chapter presents the general theoretical principles and exercises on related themes with a solution. All this in a didactic manner. Indications are given in order to provide leads to tackle each exercise.
