Summary
In this paper, the authors present a new design for a vertical water-cooled condenser. Inside the vertical tubes, there is a fluidised bed obtained by means of particles in suspension in the cooling water. There is a large increase in heat transfer as well as a reduction in the wear and tear on the inside of the tubes.
