Author(s) : KOELET P. C.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The wide range of different refrigerants available makes it very difficult for end-users, consultants and contractors to make a choice. In the article the author tries to help the reader with this choice. From one hand a comparison is given between a number of actual refrigerants by means of a table with 20 caracteristics of the refrigerant. On the other hand a survey is given of the possibilities in the past and today as well as an indication of the possible situation in the future. Whatever the future may bring, ammonia will certainly remain in the picture.
