THE AUTHOR SHOWS THAT HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS IN FORCED CONVECTION WITH CHANGES OF PHASE ARE INDEPENDENT FROM THE DIRECTION OF THERMAL FLOW, THEREFOREIDENTICAL WHEN THE TWO-PHASE FLOW ABSORBS (EVAPORATION) OR REJECTS (CONDENSATION) HEAT FOR LOW TEMPERATURE GRADIENTS SUCH AS THOSE FOUND IN REFRIGERATING CYCLES.
