Summary
THE HOUSEHOLD CONSUMPTION OF THESE PRODUCTS IN FRANCE WAS MULTIPLIED BY TEN BETWEEN 1970 AND 1982 AND TRIPLED BETWEEN 1975 (80,000 T) AND 1982 (242,000 T). A SERIES OF TABLES SHOW THE DEVELOPMENT OF INVESTMENTS IN ADVERTISING MEDIA FOR FROZEN FOODS AND ICE CREAM, OF THE NUMBER OF BUYERS PER YEAR (IN PERCENTAGE OF ALL HOUSEHOLDS), OF THE AMOUNTS BOUGHT PER HOUSEHOLD, THE REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT OF HOUSEHOLDS BETWEEN 1980 AND 1982, WITH THE PERCENTAGE OF CONSUMPTION COMPARED TO THIS EQUIPMENT. FIGURES ARE GIVEN FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF SALES BY GROUP OF PRODUCTS IN 1982. TWO GRAPHS SHOW THE DEVELOPMENT (BETWEEN 1975 AND 1982) OF THE PERCENTAGE OF THE MARKET FOR FROZEN FOODS AND THAT OF THE MARKET FOR ICE CREAM TO BE SOLD THROUGH DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS. G.G.
