A chemical heat pump with cold thermal storage using sodium carbonate decahydrate and oxalic acid dihydrate, aiming at a load-levelling system after theoretical comparison of heat pump systems from the viewpoint of COP and storage volume. The dehydration of sodium carbonate decahydrate was investigated.
