FUZZY CONTROL OF ENVIRONMENTAL TEST ROOM FOR REFRIGERATING AND AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT.

Author(s) : XIA J., HUANG S.

Summary

IT IS DIFFICULT TO DEVELOP AN ACCURATE MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF THERMODYNAMICSYSTEMS WHOSE CONDITIONS CHANGE SLOWLY AND WITH A DELAY DUE TO THE SYSTEM INERTIA. THE METHOD OF FUZZY CONTROL CONSTITUTES AN EFFICIENT MEANS FOR MONITORING THESE SYSTEMS. FOR AN EXPERIMENTAL CLIMATIC ROOM, THE RULES FOR FUZZY CONTROL OFTHE TEMPERATURE AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY ARE EXPRESSED IN THE FORM OF MATRICES. AFTER HAVING ANALYZED THE DELAY AND INERTIA OF THE THERMODYNAMIC SYSTEM, BY FUZZY THEORY, AN AUTOADAPTATIVE FUZZY CONTROLLER IS DEVELOPED. AN EXAMPLE IS DISCUSSED.
