Type of article: Article, Case study
Summary
The gas driven VRF-air-conditioning systems suitable for cooling and simultaneous heating of the manufacturer Sanyo are particularly favourable in terms of investment and running costs. At the same time they are very environmentally friendly, being characterized by low CO2 and NOx emissions. The high performance (COP) is achieved by all possible heat recovery applications from exhaust-gases and cooling water of the gas engine and heat recovery from the refrigeration system. The innovative design of the system enables powerful cooling and/or heating and the required temperature settings are reached in shorter time intervals compared with electric-driven systems. These VRF systems guarantee a pleasant indoor climate during summer and winter with low maintenance costs. The company Innotec Automotive Netherlands has particularly favourable experiences with this plant.
