General principles of formation and optimization of multicomponent working fluids for cryogenic systems.

Summary

To cool and cryostate different objects cryogenic systems with multicomponent working fluids based on a simple throttle cycle (Linde cycle) have been recently used. Their characteristic feature is a small temperature difference in heat exchangers. This ensures a significant improvement of energy consumption data. The advantages of mixtures as working fluids are completely realized if their quantitative composition is properly selected and qualitative composition is optimized.
