Summary
THE FORMATION PROCESS OF A DIFFUSION LAYER ON THE BOILING OF BINARY MIXTURES WAS STUDIED. THE CHANGE IN MIXTURE CONCENTRATION AND THE CORRESPONDING CHANGE IN CONDENSATION TEMPERATURE WERE TAKEN AS PARAMETERS CHARACTERISTING HEAT EXCHANGE ON THE BOILING OF MIXTURES, WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE DIFFUSION LAYER. A SEMI-EMPIRICAL FORMULA IS SUGGESTED FOR THE CALCULATION OF SURFACE HEAT TRANSFER ON BOILING ON THE TUBES OF REFRIGERANT-OIL MIXTURES. THE RELATIONSHIP GENERALISES TEST DATA WITH ABOUT 20% ACCURACY.
