Summary
It is estimated that the heat pump stock in the world is more than 50 million units. More than a half of them are air source heat pumps for the residential and commercial application. After giving the outline of global heat pump market, the paper discusses the transition of the Japanese market and its current status from the view point of air source mass production type heat pumps. At the same time it refers roughly to the European, US, and Chinese market. At the end the paper gives the idea how we look at the future market and what are likely to be our target.
