Summary
In this presentation, the author analyses the technological trends observed with regards to vehicle air conditioners. After having reviewed the production figures in the various economic areas, the author quantifies the refrigerant losses for these same economic areas. He gives an overview of the various refrigerants used, by analysing their characteristics as well as the technological constraints. Finally, he presents future developments that can be considered in the vehicle air-conditioning sector.
