Refrigerant emissions along the mobile air-conditioning (MAC) system lifetime.
Author(s) : CLODIC D., HARNISCH J., SCHWARZ W.
Summary
This presentation deals with refrigerant emissions linked to the manufacture and operation of air conditioners in vehicles. The authors analyse the refrigerant leaks and losses during all stages of the life cycle of the equipment, while distinguishing in particular: the initial load, normal or accidental leaks, additional load and losses at the time of cut-off. This presentation also gives the results of an investigation on vehicle fleets in 3 countries: Sweden, Germany and Portugal, with many statistics.
