Summary

This guide is the fruit of interministerial work performed by the Ministries of Health, Industry and the Environment. It is aimed at preventing Legionella-related risks in cooling towers. It covers systems used for industrial-process water cooling, and those used for tertiary applications. This guide is divided into two parts: a guide to good practice in the fields of design, operating, maintenance and operating of cooling towers; a logbook for monitoring the cooling system: a practical document enabling plant monitoring.
